2019 The beginning
Founded by Patrick and Grace Ndungu, Origen quickly established itself as an innovative supplier of crude avocado oil into international markets. From day one, our mission has been simple: deliver the best quality, without compromise.
Today Athi River & beyond
Our modern Athi River facility supports retail and foodservice through private label programmes and our own brands — Asili® and Golden D’Lite. We refine only as far as needed to meet quality, safety, and performance specifications.

Digital lot identification traces each batch through receiving, processing, storage, and dispatch — a complete chain of custody from farmer to customer.

Our oils are refined only as far as needed to meet quality, safety, and performance specifications — preserving the true character of each oil.

- Controlled refining — Colour, FFA, cloud point, and related parameters monitored throughout.
- Batch traceability — Digital lot identification maintained at every stage.
- Final inspection — Colour, FFA, PV, iodine value, cloud point, and specification checks before release.
